Our external partners collaborate with us in a number of different ways. Select Texas A&M Resources

The ​Texas A&M Center for Innovation in Advanced Development and Manufacturing​ is founded on a public-private partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, commercial and academic partners, as well as the State of Texas, and is one of three national centers established to develop and manufacture countermeasures. The Center consists of ​three unique facilities​, collectively, able to rapidly provide critical vaccines and therapeutics to the U.S. population in case of pandemics or other national emergencies at significantly reduced costs through the implementation of innovative and flexible technologies. The ​Global Health Research Complex​ leverages Texas A&M University’s multidisciplinary experts and state-of-the-art technology. It serves as a focus for research in vector-borne disease. GHRC boasts an ACL-3 insectary and equipment to support deep analysis of the genetics of animals, insects and the pathogens that infect them. The GHRC supports and advances multi-disciplinary large animal and insect vector research, education, and training opportunities for faculty at Texas A&M and their partners from other academic institutions and industries.

 

Texas A&M University Health Science Center Institute of Biosciences & Technology​ in Houston works to improve the quality of health care through innovative research and education. The institute is organized into Centers of research excellence in cancer, genomics and disease, developmental biology and birth defects, and infectious disease, and is home to a variety of advanced resources and programs to foster inter-institutional collaborations.

 

The ​Texas A&M Institute for Preclinical Studies (TIPS)​ provides large animal Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and translational research studies with unique access to expertise in all major medical and scientific disciplines including surgery, biomedical engineering, advanced imaging, pathology, radiography, interventional cardiology, neurology, animal behavior, chemistry, and engineering.

The ​Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station (TEES)​ is a research and development agency with 105 years of experience focusing on applied research in defense, energy, health care, infrastructure and manufacturing. They provide cutting-edge solutions to global technical challenges. The State of Texas chartered TEES to foster innovations in research, education and technology. These advancements support industry and enhance the economic development of our state and nation.

 

Texas A&M AgriLife Research​ is the state’s premier research agency in agriculture, natural resources, and the life sciences. They conduct hundreds of projects spanning many scientific disciplines to deliver life-sustaining and industry-changing impacts to citizens throughout Texas and around the world. They are a state agriculture agency part of Texas A&M AgriLife, which allows them to fund research across many fields.

 

The ​Texas A&M Transportation Institute​ has​ a breadth and depth of programs, facilities and capabilities unsurpassed by any other higher-education-affiliated transportation research organization in the United States. The Institute’s research and development program has resulted in significant breakthroughs across all facets of transportation. TTI research is widely known as an excellent value with a proven impact of saving lives, time and resources. The Institute’s innovative strategies and products have saved the state of Texas and the United States billions of dollars and thousands of lives.

FUJIFULM Diosynth Biotechnologies​ is a leading contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) providing process development and manufacturing of biologics at four locations across the world, one of which is located in College Station, Texas and is a key partner and operator of Texas A&M’s Center for Innovation Advanced Development and Manufacturing facilities. FUJIFILM combines technical leadership in cell culture, microbial fermentation and gene therapies with world class cGMP manufacturing facilities to advance tomorrow’s medicines, and for over 30 years has been supporting customers with development and manufacture of recombinant proteins, viral vaccines and gene therapies.

 

iBio, Inc​. is an innovator biologics company using its ​FastPharming​TM System to quickly produce biotherapeutic and vaccine candidates for unmet medical needs, including a virus-like particle (VLP)-based vaccine against SARS-CoV-2. iBio’s CDMO facility is located in Bryan, Texas and is a full-service biologics CDMO equipped to take clients from pre-clinical development through regulatory approval, to commercial product launch.

 

G-CON Manufacturing​ has led the cleanroom industry since 2009, fulfilling pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical needs through designing, building and installing prefabricated turnkey cleanroom PODs for a variety of purposes, from aseptic fill/finish and laboratory environments to advanced therapies and production process platforms. PODs provide the only system that is readily deployable, flexible, mobile and scalable in the cleanroom market.
